The ISS was established in 1989 for the purpose of contribution to human health and performance. Research committee of the ISS consists of ten faculty members from the colleges of Liberal Arts, Education, and Medicine. The main activities of the ISS are conducting research, publishing a periodical, opening conferences, and arranging events to generate positive contribution to schools and communities. In addition, the ISS manages a fitness room located on campus to develop and apply 'brand new' theories and programs.
